Baby Nelson is here!!!!

Well, our son arrived a little earlier than expected, times four.  December 15th we were told, November 26th we were told, November 25th we were told, but November 24th was the actual day of arrival!!!  Tana had symptoms of preeclampsia that worsened meriting earlier and earlier induction dates.  The doctors put Tana on a ptosin drip at around 2:00 p.m. and by 5:45 p.m. she was dilated to a six.  Twenty minutes later she was dilated to a ten and had nurses scrambling to get the doctor and to prepare all of the equipment.  Three pushes later, at 6:23 p.m. our little boy made his entrance into the world.  He was kicking and screaming from the get go, but as soon as he was dried off and under a warmer he was just chillin' and taking in the world.  To make a long story short, Baby Nelson, as we have been calling him, was 5 lbs 1 oz and 18 3/4 inches long, a featherweight, for now.  He was/is perfectly healthy and perfectly beautiful (coming from biased parents).  He has been a great eater and was sucking his thumb within 15 minutes of delivery.  Nelson is written all over him from the nose down, but he has Jones written all over him from the nose up, especially Tana's eyes and round noggin.  Oh, wait, he has my hair, too!  You can come to your own conclusions.  We feel so blessed to have our new addition, and we will get a name as soon as possible.
